Prince Lír
Voice - Jeff Bridges

- Marvelling at his own boldness, Lír said softly, "I would enter your sleep if I could and guard you there, and slay the thing that hounds you, as I would if it had the courage to face me in fair daylight. But I cannot come in unless you dream of me"

Prince Lír lived with his 'father', King Haggard in the castle which was also home to the Red Bull. He fell in love with the Unicorn who, at the time, was diguised as a human girl by Schmendric's magic. He did everything he could to get her attention, and even went out and killed a dragon for her, but this did not please her. He eventually finds out that Amalthea was really a unicorn when he follows her with Molly and Schmendric into the Bull's Lair. But this doesn't have any effect his love for her, and he dies trying to protect her from the Red Bull. (Don't worry, the unicorn brings him back to life afterwards =)

Quotes
Lír: I used to have a dream, over and over, about standing at my window in the middle of the night and seeing the Bull, the Red Bull-
Schmendric: Yes. Driving unicorns into the sea. It was no dream. Haggard has them all now, drifting in and out on the tide for his delight, all but one. That one is the Lady Amalthea.
Lír: Unicorn, mermaid, sorceress, no name you would give her would surprise or frighten me. I love whom I love.

- "I've had time to write a book about
The way you act and look -
I haven't got a paragraph.
Words are always getting in my way,
Anyway, I love you,
That's all I have to tell you,
That's all I've got to say.

And now, I'd like to make a speech about
The love that touches each,
But, stumbling, I would make you laugh.
I feel as though my tongue were made of clay,
Anyway, I love you,
That's all I have to tell you.

I'm not a man of poetry,
Music isn't one with me,
It runs from me,
Runs from me.
And I would like to write a symphony"
